ARCA - Noah Charney
ARCA (Association for Research into Crimes against Art) is an international research group promoting the study and understanding of art crime, including art theft, forgery, security, art in war, illicit trade in antiquities, art law, iconoclasm and vandalism, and other related subjects. It was founded by Noah in 2006 and has achieved acclaim as a leader in the study of art crime, and in raising public awareness about it. Among its activities, ARCA runs the only academic program in the study of art crime, an annual, summer-long Postgraduate Certificate Program in Art Crime and Cultural Heritage Protection, and publishes twice-yearly the only peer-reviewed academic journal in the field, The Journal of Art Crime, which Noah edits.
